| A slower power ballady thing... upon these streets he walks at night the wind blowing through his hair he lives in a world that is out of sight where none of those people seem to care
the girl is up and out of sight the wind blows through her hair she lives somewhere lost in the night and yet she is one who cares
the song of the ill forgotten is sung sweetly through the night as the passers by wonder softly and wish more quickly the ensuing light
Sing Ye, sweet melody of time the strings of the heart beat for thee as sweet the taste of wine caught between two worlds, one in day, the other in night, the pair just cannot seem to bridge the great divide
and through his life he never forgets that one special lady, she is always there in his mind as slowly passes time ~ by DLC
| It has been forever old friend...
An old man by a seashore At the end of day Gazes the horizon With seawinds in his face Tempest-tossed island Seasons all the same Anchorage unpainted And a ship without a name
Sea without a shore for the banished one unheard He lightens the beacon, light at the end of world Showing the way lighting hope in their hearts The ones on their travels homeward from afar
This is for long-forgotten Light at the end of the world Horizon crying The tears he left behind long ago
The albatross is flying Making him daydream The time before he became One of the world's unseen Princess in the tower Children in the fields Life gave him it all: An island of the universe
Now his love's a memory A ghost in the og He sets the sails one last time Saying farewell to the world Anchor to the water Seabed far below Grass still in his feet Snd a smile beneath his brow
This is for long-forgotten Light at the end of the world Horizon crying The tears he left behind so long ago

| This is a great song. Of course it is by Bob Dylan....
Come gather 'round people Wherever you roam And admit that the waters Around you have grown And accept it that soon You'll be drenched to the bone If your time to you Is worth savin' Then you better start swimmin' Or you'll sink like a stone For the times they are a-changin'.
Come writers and critics Who prophesize with your pen And keep your eyes wide The chance won't come again And don't speak too soon For the wheel's still in spin And there's no tellin' who That it's namin' For the loser now Will be later to win For the times they are a-changin'.
Come senators, congressmen Please heed the call Don't stand in the doorway Don't block up the hall For he that gets hurt Will be he who has stalled There's a battle outside And it is ragin' It'll soon shake your windows And rattle your walls For the times they are a-changin'.
Come mothers and fathers Throughout the land And don't criticize What you can't understand Your sons and your daughters Are beyond your command Your old road is Rapidly agin' Please get out of the new one If you can't lend your hand For the times they are a-changin'.
The line it is drawn The curse it is cast The slow one now Will later be fast As the present now Will later be past The order is Rapidly fadin' And the first one now Will later be last For the times they are a-changin'.
| Well I woke up this mornin' To a sad, sad sight my best pair of socks twas' lost in the night
I threw back the sheets as the tears started to fall cuz' these socks were the best of them all
And I got these blues all 23 of them lost my socks and now I ain't got em
I looked all around in the kitchen and above up hither and on the ground but my socks is no where to be found!
now I know as the tears start to fall that those socks was the best of them all
and now I got these blues all 23 of 'em I lost my socks so now I ain't got none
what am I to do? with no socks to wear I suppose I will have to ask and see if anybody will share
but this is not all for who am I to ask ain't nobody who could ever be up to that task
so I get myself ready to head on outside forget them socks its nice and dry!
so, I walked outside and my feet they was cold! I says to myself lord have mercy this is gettin' old!
oh, I got these blues! all 23 of them, cuz' I lost my socks, and now I ain't got none!
so take good care of yo socks and they will take care of you and if you keep yo socks they will keep you from gettin' 23 shades of blue!
